Smart Grid in the green and energy technological transition
Smart Grid is central to the green transition in the field of energy. With Smart Grid, we can control electricity consumption so that we ensure that - even with the future increasing share of renewable energy that can fluctuate with the weather - there is enough electricity for everyone at all times of the day.
But Smart Grid, despite several pilot projects, is still not rolled out in Denmark.
The purpose of the project is to investigate and in a lively, easily accessible way convey what energy-technological advances Smart Grid rests on - and what we can expect from the future, why we do not yet have Smart Grid in Denmark, and what we must do in order to get it.The goal of the project is to create a podcast-series which analyses and explains the status, barriers and opportunities of the use of Smart Grid in Denmark. The benefit of the project is the dissemination of energy technology knowledge to new companies, which will offer Smart Grid services, decision-makers in the energy field and consumers with an interest in energy communities and green conversion.
The podcast series will consist of 15 episodes that promotes and informs about Smart Grid. Each episode conveys energy technology knowledge - including new studies and analyzes carried out as part of the project - among others through interviews with high-profile experts in the field. The podcast series is supplemented with 15 articles, which are disseminated via relevant online media.
The podcast will be disseminated through our own channels. The podcast will be hosted by Podbean.
